The new packaging, boldly printed in green, white and black is designed to be more striking and modern in appearance as the brand continues to grow in popularity among a wide range of age groups.
A no show sock, or loafer sock as they are sometimes called are small socks that can be worn under boat shoes or any style of low cut covered shoe. They give the appearance that the wearer is not wearing any socks at all.
Wearing socks like this is strongly advised as they minimize sweating which not only keeps feet more comfortable but reduces sweating which if kept uncontrolled can cause very smelly feet as well as fungal infections such as athlete's foot.
Jays have also changed the names of their products to reflect the type of customer who is using them. No show socks for women are now simply called 'No Show' whilst Jays range of no show socks for men are now called Jays Barely There 'Sport'.
The reason for these name changes is that men with smaller feet have been buying the ladies version to wear with boat shoes whilst women have been buying the men's style to wear under sport shoes and espadrille style shoes.
We wanted to introduce names that were less stereotyped' explained Jo Browning, Owner of Jays Barely There Socks. The initial response has been most positive' she added.
Jays Barely There Socks have big plans with new styles and sizes of product planned to be launched over the coming weeks.
