Many people who have tried using an armband in the past have either given up or are frustrated with their armband. Exceptional Material
The Get Fit Sports Armband is made of out of mostly Neoprene. Neoprene is a military grade material that is used in the wet suits made for Navy Seals. It was originally developed to serve as an oil resistant substitute for natural rubber. By its nature, Neoprene is a soft material, making it an excellent source of padding for fragile materials, i.e. a $600 super phone. Armbands made from other materials have a tendency to trap moisture between the armband and the skin. The Neoprene Blend that comes on the Get Fit is apparently very breathable and will prevent a buildup of moisture and wont leave users feeling like there's a sauna on their arm.
Convenience/Functionality
The Get Fit Sports Armband is very easy to use, it secures around the arm with a Velcro strap, keeping the phone firmly in place against the arm with a wider base. The Get Fir allows ease of access to all external controls of the IPhone while on the arm. This includes access to the headphone jack, volume controls, home button, hold, and power. To achieve full functionality the Get Fit also features a transparent screen protector that won't allow dirt or moisture to get to the face of the IPhone while users walk, or jog rain or shine.
When asked, Vassell said that the best thing about the Get Fit Sports Armband is that it doesn't feel like the user is using an armband. "Your Armband isn't supposed to be the focus of attention during a workout, no armband should but that's not always the case.
