The Devious Maids executive producer will receive the ALMA de tu Mundo award while musician Daddy Yankee will be bestowed the Poder Musical award on the same night.
The event will be star-studded, broadcasting live on Thursday, August 15 from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The event will feature anticipated arrivals from the La Alfombra de Premios tu Mundo.
The ALMA de tu Mundo award, which is presented by the channel Telemundo, and is in conjunction with the National Council of La Raza recognizes artists who utilize their fame and talent to assist the neediest communities and create awareness of varying endeavors of the philanthropic nature.
