These forms are fine when taken orally because the digestive system can break the L-ascorbic acid free from the stabilizers however there is no mechanism in the skin that can do that.
- The packaging. The biggest problem for vitamin C degradation is air and light. Most vitamin C serums are packed in dropper bottles. Opening and closing the container is not recommended.
