Overtime Fitness's first product is their resistance bands, available on Amazon.com. The bands are sold as a set of three, each varying in length. The bands were created and sold this way so that anyone, regardless of their current athletic ability, can modify their strength training to fit their needs. When owners of Overtime Products sought to bring more awareness to the rising obesity rates, they realized that a fitness product needed to be designed that was easy to use, portable, and effective. Most importantly, they said, was the desire to be able to utilize or incorporate a fitness regime into their daily lives while not completely changing their normal daily routine. Bringing the resistance loops to the office and using them while working, or using them while watching television in the evening, is just as effective as incorporating them into a regular gym routine.
"With the busy schedules that many hardworking Americans have these days, I saw that they were forgoing exercise in their daily lives. I have used resistance bands for years to squeeze in exercise but I was constantly breaking them and having to purchase new ones. I realized that if I could put a better quality band on the market, more people could see the benefits and incorporate them into their daily lives, " said Kim LoCicero, founder of Overtime Products.
Overtime Products plans to release more products in the next few months.
