The two friends Mark and Gary were inspired to start the website after their own successful plant based diet journeys.

“We’ve always been interested in health, focusing on getting ourselves fit and healthy after our own experiences with weight gain, high blood pressure, lack of energy and so on. This project is now about us sharing this experience with others and helping them achieve the same goals,” Gary said.

Mark and Gary realized the benefits of helping people in one-on-one sessions could be extended to larger groups of people through a dedicated website. As well as delivering up-to-date blogs on every topic from the best vegan foods to the worse fast foods, the website is enhanced by a popular series of group seminars and a series of eBooks which will be available soon.

“There is a growing community of people who love sharing recipes, tips and advice. We are excited to be part of it, sharing our own experiences and those of others,” said Mark.

“Health is a journey, and without education people aren’t equipped to make the right choices. For example, with any diet it’s important your body is still getting the right amount and types of nutrients. So we always tell people to plan their daily menu to ensure it contains everything the body needs. Nuts and seeds are a great way to get the protein that you won’t get from meat. You should also add lots of variety to your diet with different fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds,” said Gary.
