(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 08, 2014 )
San Francisco, CA -- The Age Management Medicine Group has announced the date and location for its upcoming spring conference. The 16th Clinical Applications for Age Management Medicine will take place in Orlando, Florida from April 24-27, 2014.

Dr. Harvey S. Bartnof, MD, the Founder and Medical Director of California Longevity and Vitality Medical Institute (R) in San Francisco, California, will deliver a lecture at the conference titled “Lengthening Telomeres Safely with TA-65: Case Studies from the Clinic.” He will present actual patient cases from his Institute that document lengthening of their telomeres resulting from TA-65 supplementation and a complete regimen of Age Management Medicine.

As Dr. Bartnof has explained on the Institute’s website, TA-65 is a natural supplement derivative that can improve aspects of biologic aging in both humans and mice. TA-65 has been found to increase telomerase, which is a natural enzyme. This helps to lengthen the telomeres that protect the ends of chromosomes.

“Many human studies have shown that aging correlates with shorter telomeres,” Dr. Bartnof has noted, adding that shorter telomeres in humans can predict future diseases, including cancers, vascular diseases, heart disease, excess weight, “mitochondria” malfunction (energy decline), immune decline, and many others, when compared to people of the same age with longer telomeres.
“Longer telomeres are associated with a more youthful cellular profile and health.”

Because the telomeres will naturally become shorter every time a cell divides, Dr. Bartnof explains that it is especially important to find ways to keep the telomeres longer; this will help to protect the chromosomes and may help to prevent disease from taking hold. Interestingly, he notes, mice that do not have any telomerase in their bodies have been found to have shorter life spans, and also exhibit classic signs of premature aging, including graying and thinning fur.

TA-65 has been shown to increase telomerase and extend telomeres in published, peer-reviewed medical reports, including test tube studies, mice studies and human studies.

Anybody who would like to learn more about the health benefits of the oral supplement TA-65 is welcome to visit the California Longevity and Vitality Medical Institute’s website; there, they can also read about Dr. Bartnof and his work. Please visit www.DrBartnof.com.
