Savy Industries, primarily an online retailer through Amazon, first started with Big Daddys Microfiber Detailing Cloths and then established the Vellumay line of anti annti wrinkle serum and moisturizers.
Boyce Henry, director of product and brand development for Savy Industries, commented on the new trademark application, "We established the trademark application some time ago, but the process takes awhile to be finalized. Being already brand registered with Amazon, this additional legal footing will help establish the Vellumay name for building brand awareness. It also represents a commitment to the brand from a company standpoint."
Henry went on to say, "The fees involved with trademarking are such that a very positive future for the brand and the underlying products must be weighed carefully. The performance of the Vellumay line in the marketplace led us to have considerable confidence in pursuing a trademark." Henry speculated that the process should be complete in thirty to sixty days.
When asked to distinguish between the two products currently under the Vellumay name, Henry explained, "We currently have two excellent product with two more coming online soon. Our first product was a anti aging moisturizer with matrixyl, a collagen boosting facial moisturizer meant for all skin types. The second product introduced was a vitamin C eye gel with hyaluronic acid intended for concentration around the eyes. This product is also suited for those with sensitive skin or those who do not tolerate retinol well. As of now, the next two products will be a weekly facial scrub and a retinol serum."
